So hydrogel (in) agriculture is more like a "mini- reservoir": to retain water when it's raining and to release water when it's drought.
Tips: the specific retention of the hydrogel is 1.3-1.4 MPa and the specific retention of roots is about 1.6-1.7 MPa.
